Under the backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative, the exhibition aims to provide a platform for arts from China and South and Southeast Asia for cultural exchanges.

Using paper as the medium, all the works vividly depict the culture, customs and cultural attitudes of the countries they represent.

"There are a lot of things in people’s heart and I chose black in my works to represent daily life and past," said Bipasha Hayat, a painter from Bangladesh. "I also use deserted materials for my paintings, which is environment-friendly."
