Yunnan boasts numerous beautiful villages. When you travel in Yunnan, villages are destinations you can’t miss. Today, we take you to the Langjing Village.

Located in central Yunnan’s Lufeng County, the Langjing Villlage was listed as a “Provincial Historical and Cultural Village” in 2008. Rich in cultural and historical value, the village has become a travel destination and a place for scientific research.

88 kilometers away from the government seat of Lufeng County, Langjing boasts many historical relics including the Wen Family House, the Kaining Temple, the Kuige Tower, the Monument to Commemorate Martyr Zhang Jingchen.

Among them the Kaining Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty(618-907) and repaired in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). It is large in scale and very magnificent. The copper statues in the temple are the treasure of the Buddhism. Composed of the front, middle and back yards, the temple is a gallery of many Buddhism architectures.
