The 11 students and teachers experienced the celebrations during the Hindu Republic Day holiday, listening to traditional Indian music and watching Indian artistic performances.

“The teachers and students got to know the rich cultural heritage of India, and it is an opportunity to develop educational cooperation with Indian educational institutions." The Yunnan students learned the Indian cuisine and yoga classes, participating in English courses and the Indian Bamboo Dance studies. They also visited primary schools and universities under the educational institution of the Jyotirmoy School of Education.

What students remember most is the visit to the Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission University’s training rooms and student’ work exhibition. The training facilities have similarities with Yunnan Technology and Business University. Both have mechanical processing laboratories, electrical and mechanical welding laboratories and others.

The Indian students also vividly displayed the use and working principles of mimic trains, excavators, the wind-power station and the mimic beautiful Hawrah suspension bridge, showing rich creativity and strong hands-on abilities to their Yunnan counterparts.

The Yunnan institution signed an agreement with Saraswati Online. Com in 2017 and students from both sides will have more exchange visits this year to enhance educational cooperation and cultural sharing.
