Chowhounds’ feast in Kunming
Promoting traditional food culture all over the world, the ongoing Kunming International Food Carnival is an exotic feast for foodies.
At the Kunming International Food Carnival being held from January 13 to January 21, more than 90 well-known delicacies from South Korea, Spain, India, Thailand and other countries as well as provinces and cities in China such as Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing and Yunnan debuted exclusively on Kunming market. Internationally, the mojito cocktail, Spanish king crab, Latin fruit, Indian flying cake, Korean octopus balls, Thai durian cakes, French steak and etc. present an exotic feast for visitors. Domestically, the Taiwan fish tofu, Peking duck, Xi'an mutton Paomo, Guangdong crystal shrimp dumplings, Changsha stinky tofu, Chongqing hot and sour noodles, Inner Mongolia barbecue, etc., are all offered to food fans in Kunming.
This event is held to promote the traditional food culture all over the world and add festive atmosphere to the coming 2018 Chinese Spring Festival.
