'Hotel California' in Lisu language: special, gentle and romantic

You may heard many versions of "Hotel California", but have you ever listened to this song in Yunnan Lisu people's language?

Recently, a Yunnan local band "Hunter" in Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture covered the "Hotel California", a song of Eagles released in February 1977, into their Lisu language.

Since its release, the song has been covered by numerous artists in many languages. However, it is not common to listen the song in ethnic minority languages of Yunnan. When the song meets with Lisu Language, it sounds so special, gentle and romantic.

This music video of "Hunter" could be seen as a product of integration between western and eastern cultures.

Accordingly, the Lisu folk song has been included in China' National Intangible Heritage List in 2006.
