Shangri-La photography tour kicks off
The “World’s Shangri-La” photography tour has already started according to a press meeting in Kunming, Yunnan Province on September 3.
Members of China Photographers Association and Yunnan Photographers Association will visit the Pudacuo National Park, the Dukezong Ancient Town, the Ganden Stumtseling Monastery, the Meili Snow Mountain, the Tiger Leaping Gorge and the Shika Snow Mountain, said the presser.
All of the places are well-known scenic spots in Shangri-La, northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. And the whole tour will last from September to December this year.
The 10th Kangba Art Festival will be held on September 12-15 in Shangri-La, added the presser.
Located in the southern part of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Shangri-La forms heart the Three Parallel Rivers area. Unique geographical and climatic conditions make Shangri-la a tourist attraction featuring snow peaks, valleys, grasslands, mountain lakes, primitive forests and ethnic customs.
