Yunnan artist introduces his hometown in oil paintings.

Under the jurisdiction of central Yunnan’s Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Shuangbai County is located in the core area of Ailao Mountain national nature reserve. Boasting a high forest coverage rate of 84% and endowed with attractive natural views, Shuangbai wins the title of “an emerald embedded in central Yunnan”. Meanwhile, the county is rich in ethnic culture. It is dubbed as the “hometown of Yi people’s tiger culture”. 

Born in Shuangbai in 1980, Liu Guodong is a local famous artist. Showing his love for hometown, Liu describes the beauty of Shuangbai with his brushes.
