Helicopter tours form a trend in Kunming during holiday
During the just-concluded Spring Festival holiday, tens of hundreds tourists experienced helicopter tours in Kunming’s Haigneg Park, bird-viewing the Spring City at a lower altitude.
The special tours were organized by Kunming Fengxiang General Aviation Service, with each 10-minute flight costing 800 yuan per passenger.
More than 90 percent of the tourists come from other Chinese provinces instead of Yunnan. And many of the passengers are at the aged of around 50-60, with the eldest one aged 90.
Some in-Kunming international tourists also joined the leisure in the lake-side park.
Similar copter tours are expected to be offered in other Yunnan localities in the near future, including Lijiang and Tengchong.
