In Asian Elephants Breeding and Rescue Center, there is a ‘celebrity’ named ‘Lambling’. Since she was born, Lambling was fed with ewe’s milk. So she has goat smell and is rejected by other elephants before she found her new friend “Xiaoqiang” recently.

According to staff at the Asian Elephants Breeding and Rescue Center(AEBRC) in south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna, Lambling didn’t accept elephant’s milk and cow milk after she was born. Thus her breeders looked for ewe’s milk for her. As a result, Lambling has strong goat smell which unfortunately makes her isolated from other elephants.

With the assistance of her breeders, Lambling began to learn survival skills in wildness and finally found her friend ‘Xiaoqiang’ who also lives in the AEBRC. The breeders said that the two baby elephants eat and play together and they are supposed to return the nature in the future.
