Sharable tissue available in Kunming

The ZHO sharable tissue has become available in Yunnan’s central city of Kunming, as a service machine was set at the Changchun office building in the downtown on April 8.

"It's easy. Scan the QR code on the machine and you get the tissue, which is offered for free in the beginning days," said Zheng Pin, founder of tissue-sharing startup ZHO, who initiated the service in 2017. 

As of now, sharable daily items in the spring city have involved bikes, cars, umbrellas, electric bikes, and last but not least, the tissue.

Tissue-sharing has been a trend in some coastal cities in South China, such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen. “We aim to provide easy tissue access for Kunming citizens,” said Liu Yunfu, the machine operator.

The service-machine management in Kunming is currently done by college students as a part-time job.
