Leopard cat cub saved in Yunnan
Lately, a lost baby leopard cat was found by villagers living in Jiangcheng County, southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er City. With help of local forest policemen, the cub now is in a good state.
It is estimated that this little leopard cat is about one month old. It looks like a cat with black and yellow hair color.
After finding the cat, the villagers sent it to the forestry police. With good care from one of the policeman, it feels safe and turns to be active. It always follows the policeman wherever he goes.
It is analyzed that the cub might be lost on its way home while its mother was out for foraging. Accordingly, leopard cats are found in 21 Asian countries. And in China, they are under national second-class protection.
