International soccer event to take place in Yunnan

The "2018 Colorful Yunnan Belt and Road International Football Tournament" will be held here next month, organizers announced on Sunday.

The capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province will play host to eight football teams from five countries from December 8 to 16.

Thailand's Chonburi FC, Uzbekistan's Nurafshon Inter FC, Serbia's Belgrade FK Zvezdara FC, Pakistan's Mehran FC as well as China's NanTong Zhiyun FC, Shenyang Urban FC, Sichuan Jiuniu FC, Yunnan Feihu FC will be divided into two groups while the top two finishers of each group will enter the next phase.
