A photo exhibition of China's reform and opening-up was held on Tuesday in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi.
With more than 140 precious photos on show, the exhibition comprised two sections - historical track and achievements of China's reform and opening-up and China-Vietnam cooperation achievements.
At the opening ceremony, Chinese Ambassador Xiong Bo said reform and opening-up were the common choice of China and Vietnam, and both countries have exchanged ideas and promoted cooperation during the process.
Currently, China and Vietnam are at a critical stage of deepening the reform and opening-up. China is willing to work with Vietnam to enhance political mutual trust and deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields so as to benefit the two peoples and make greater contribution to peace and development in the region and the world, said the ambassador.
Le Khanh Hai, Vietnamese deputy minister of culture, sports and tourism, said in his speech that the photo exhibition reflected the amazing development achievements of China's reform and opening-up, which has made China the second largest economy in the world.
The exhibition, organized by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnam Museum of Fine Arts, will last till Sunday.
