Smart toilets bring convenience to tourists in Kunming

According to Kunming Municipal Tourism Development Commission, 180 public toilets were built for tourists in Kunming, the capital of southwest China’s Yunnan province in 2018.

Meanwhile, Kunming is accelerating the steps of building smart toilets. Right now, travelling in the city, tourists can find more than 800 smart toilets on “Travel in Yunnan”app.

 As a smart tourism platform, “Travel in Yunnan” app enables users to easily find the nearest toilet. What’s more, it can show the real-time occupancy situation, the humidity, the temperature and more. Each smart toilet can “tell” the users how “convenient” it is.

Although the outlook of smart toilets is as the same as others, the intelligent management system makes them different.
