“Transformers” run self-service supermarket in Kunming

Recently, a 24-hour self-service supermarket opens in Kunming, the capital city of southwest China’s Yunnan province. Customers only need to scan the QR code before entering the supermarket.

Two Transformer robots are on duties in the supermarket. When customers enter, they will be automatically in operation by taking advantages of sound, light and electricity. They can not only remind the customers of their shopping procedures and dance for them, but also carry out real-time surveillance via the built-in cameras.

The supermarket is equipped with self-payment system. And Wechat Pay and Alipay are supported.
