Photos taken recently show the Wujiazhai Railway Bridge from different angles, which sits in south Yunnan’s Pingbian Miao Autonomous County. As part of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway which was put into operation in 1910, the A-shaped Bridge was built between cliffs, with steel plates, angle iron and rivets. Its floor was 100 meters above the bottom of the valley. It was a landmark and miracle project in the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway construction and is now very important for the study of the railway and the bridge history of China. (Xinhua/Yang Chang)
