Work resumption gains momentum at workshop, market
With the Covid-19 outbreak on the wane in China, Yunnan enterprises have actively resumed their work and production, and the momentum can be seen at garment workshops and fungus markets. Here are two examples.
Aosidi makes garment and medical products
The Kunming-based Yunnan Aosidi Company is involved in the business fields of garment making, international trade and others. Following the Covid-19 outbreak, the Kunming area of the Yunnan pilot Free Trade Zone was looking for qualified mask makers, and Aosidi met the requirements. On January 28, the company began to produce masks.
So far, Aosidi has produced 1.82 million civilian masks. On February 6, the company set up a 5000-square-meter workshop to produce medical masks and protective suits.
In purchasing raw materials, the company had financial difficulties, and Fudian Bank provided a 3-million-yuan loan timely.
Since March 15, the company resumed production of garments and accepted orders. Now, workers of Aosidi have mostly returned to work, and production of garment and medical products are in full swing.
Wages are secured at fungus market
At the wild fungus trading center in Kunming’s Panlong District, business activities have resumed gradually. Heavily hit by the Covid-19 outbreak, the market also suffered difficulties in sales and financing. At this, Fudian Bank cut its interest rates, while offering loans for the petty businesses.
"As of now, 80% of the stores have reopened to process wild mushrooms, and the business is slowly guided to the right track," said Li Qingfu, president of the Panlong wild fungus association.
Now, online sale of wild mushrooms is gaining popularity at the trading center, with orders coming from across the country.
