Yunnan reports 15 new COVID-19 cases

Yunnan province reported 15 new locally-transmitted cases and two new asymptomatic cases on April 5, said local health authority.

The confirmed and asymptomatic cases were found in the border city of Ruili during a citywide nucleic acid testing campaign, the Yunnan provincial health commission said.

As of 24:00 on April 5, the province has 66 confirmed COVID-19 cases (63 locally-transmitted and three imported) and 46 asymptomatic cases (27 locally-transmitted and 19 imported).

All the COVID patients are going through isolated treatment and medical observation at designated hospitals.
