Qinghua street receives 150,000 visitors in four days

New forms of industry witnessed a dramatic growth. Qinghua Street in central Yunnan’s Yuxi City has become one of the most popular tourist sites, receiving 150,000 visitors in four days.

Thanks to the diverse tourist products and creative designs in the Hongta district, cultural tourism embraced robust recovery in May Day holiday this year. Many traditional tourist attractions in the area saw record high arrivals of tourists.

Local destinations put up posters at the train station, coach stations, tourist spots and hotels. They also promised unconditional refunding services for visitors within 30 days to ensure an orderly tourist market.
