The China (Yunnan) pilot free trade zone (FTZ) has recently rolled out 100 measures to better its business environment at the international level.

In optimizing its market access, the Yunnan pilot FTZ will fully implement the one-stop service for companies, eradicating the insensible barriers and restrictions among businesses of differed ownership systems.

The new measures stipulate that customs clearance will be further streamlined and conducted paperless to achieve even faster services at the border gates. The Yunnan pilot FTZ will support new businesses concerning cross-border e-commerce and international express delivery.

To invite in more international talents, the pilot FTZ will also roll out the special one-stop service that encompasses work permits, foreign-expert certificates, exit-entry convenience, housing, health care, schooling for kids and more. The China-Vietnam and China-Myanmar marker for international human resources are expected to be set up in the pilot FTZ.

The measures said the pilot FTZ will allow Yunnan’s financial sector to open further, and the money-change services will be available among the currencies of Chinese yuan, Thai baht, Vietnamese dong and Lao kip.

The international centers for disease control, health care, joint experiments and traditional medicine, as well as the Yunnan international commerce court, are all expected to be set up in the pilot FTZ, according to the measures.
