Yuxi city holds 1st forum on quality life

The 1st China (Yuxi) Quality Life Forum in 2021 was held in central Yunnan’s Yuxi city on July 25.

Theme on “high-quality growth for high quality life,” the forum was attended by scholars, experts, business leaders and officials across China. They explored the trends of and approaches to a high quality life.

The forum attendees also covered the topics of high quality life in the new stage of development, how to build a livable eco-city, and more. A consensus on the high quality life in Yuxi was issued.

Yuxi City harvested a GDP of 205.8 billion yuan (31.75 billion US dollars) in 2020, and the per capita GDP reached 91,514 yuan, ranking first among the prefectural level cities in southwest China.
