Yunnan airports serve 27.61mil passengers in H1

The airports in Yunnan province served a total of 27.61 million passengers in the first half of this year, said Yunnan Airport Group on July 29.

From January to June, another four international cargo air routes were opened, connecting Kunming to Chennai and other cities.

Xishuangbanna Airport increased its cargo throughput by 89.4 percent year on year, while Kunming Airport introduced more smart equipments for self services in baggage check-in, security check-up and facial recognition.
