COP15: Spider with human face

A kidney garden spider was spotted by a photographer, Li Jun, in Yunnan on Sept. 5th. It looks as if the spider has human face with mustache at the first sight.

The spider said,"Today is my weaving day. The expression shows my mood."

Araneus mitificus, commonly known as the kidney garden spider or pale orb weaver, is a species of orb-weaver spider found in South, East, and Southeast Asia.

Li Jun, a native of Jingdong County, southwest Yunnan's Pu'er City, loves photography. After retirement, he wandered in nature, searching for, observing, and photographing the beauty of nature with his camera.
