LMTC alliance conference held in Chongqing

The Lancang-Mekong Tourist Cities (LMTC) Cooperation Alliance Conference, also the Lancang-Mekong Mayor Forum on Culture and Tourism, was held on Oct 21 in southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality.

Hosted by the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the LMTC conference was conducted online and offline. During the meeting, a "Five-Year Action Plan of the LMTC" was proposed and the "LMTC Chongqing Initiative" was launched.

The envoys of five countries (Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam), more than 20 mayors from member cities and experts gathered to bring up their wisdoms for the high-quality development of tourism industry in the Lancang-Mekong sub-region.
