Fuli Palace begins online reservation

From October 31 on, a reservation on the official WeChat public account is required to visit the interior of Fuli Palace, Kunming Botanical Garden, and the number of visitors is limited to 400 per day.

The online reservation and visits limitation are imposed for Covid-19 prevention survival of indoor plants in the greenhouse palace, which has been open to the public for free since October 25. No reservation is needed for visiting the exhibition area outside the palace.

A biodiversity displaying venue of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), the Fuli Palace houses more than 2,500 species of plants endemic to Yunnan province -- dubbed as the “kingdom of plants” for its abundance in plant diversity.
