Lahu Gourd Art Exhibition financed by National Art Fund

“Lahu Gourd Art Exhibition” in Lancang County, south Yunnan’s Pu 'er city, has been recently chosen to the list of “Annual National Art Funding Projects in 2020", becoming a new program promoted by national art fund.

As the totem of the Lahu ethnic people, the gourd has always been the one of the symbols of Lahu culture. The gourd art works of the Lahu people are well-made, exquisite, unique and irreplaceable.

The " Lahu Gourd Art Works Exhibition Tour " presented the past and present life of the gourd culture of the Lahu people. The exhibition showed the folklore, myths and legends, traditional customs, practical instruments and artistic works of the ethnic group.
