Hu Xiaoxing art show kicks off in Pu’er

The exhibition on Hu Xiaoxing's 80 watercolor works was unveiled on Nov. 19 at the Pu'er Art Museum in southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er city.

Born in Kunming in July 1951, Hu is a watercolor painter who has won many awards and honors. His works were selected into a number of art galleries in China, Switzerland, the U.S., Japan, Malaysia and more.

"Bulls represent diligence in traditional Chinese culture. I’m keen on bulls and I raise them too," said Hu, the painter of bulls. Hu has contributed much creativity and passion to painting bulls for years.

The exhibition features the culture of ethnic minorities in Yunnan. Hu also portrayed local ethnic groups from a unique perspective and with refined artistic skills.
