Former serf Penpa Tsamjo's new life in Tibet

The 92-year-old Penpa Tsamjo is a resident of Bomuqing community in Xigaze. In old Tibet, Penpa Tsamjo's family had been serfs for generations. When she was a child, Penpa Tsamjo tended forest for serf owners and did not have enough food to eat. Nowadays, Penpa Tsamjo has a family of four generations and enjoys a happy life at her old age.
