In pics: Rice transplanting in full swing in central Yunnan

Recent online pictures taken by a Yunnan Daily correspondent show farmers are busy with transplanting the rice seedlings in central Yunnan’s E’shan Yi Autonomous County.

Founded in 1951, E’shan County is China’s first Yi autonomous county and Yunnan’s first autonomous area for an ethnic minority. Major scenic areas in the county are the Jinping mountains, the hot springs at Mt. Tianzi (son of the heaven) and the Linjiang or riverside park.
