Yuanmou Man’s Park

The World Park of Yuanmou Man is located in the Fenghuang mountains, about 5 kilometers away from the Yuanmou county seat. 

In 1965, fossils of Yuanmou Man were discovered in the county. Yuanmou Man, who lived 1.7 million years ago, was the first Homo erectus ever found in China.

It is a tourist area integrating cultural experience, science exploration, hot spring, sports, leisure, and more. Visitors can let off steam by bathing in 50 plus hot-spring ponds in nature
