The Chinese internet live-streaming operators shall not provide registration services for juveniles under 16 years old, according to China's freshly revised Law on the Protection of Minors that will go into effect on June 1, the International Children's Day.

The law also stipulates that while providing registration services for juveniles over 16 years old, the live-streaming operators shall verify their ID information and get the consent of parents or other guardians.
