COP15: Wenshan shows high degree of biodiversity

The Mt. Laojunshan national nature reserve in southeast Yunnan’s Wenshan Prefecture covers 22,920 hectares and its forest coverage is 94.3 percent.

Dubbed as the oasis of Tropic of Cancer or the botany gene bank, the area has the best-preserved subtropical forest for rare plants and animals.
