Books made more accessible by senior

Li Cunde, a 70-year-old man, has been carrying books to bazaars with a cart since 2019, in a bid to increase the readership.
Li used to be manager of a village-level library in west Yunnan’s Dali Bai autonomous prefecture. Seeing the shrinking number of readers, he decided to better market the books.
“Over 10,000 have borrowed books from my mobile library in the past three years,” said Li.
