Man-elephant love goes on in Xishuangbanna

A baby elephant named longlong was rescued in Xishuangbanna, a Dai autonomous prefecture in south Yunnan province in July 2021.

Longlong was deserted by the group because of infection in the left leg, and has received sound care at the Xishuangbanna-based Wild Elephant Breeding and Rescue Center ever since.

A professional mahout takes care of lonlong kindly as if it were his child. Love is building up among a human and an elephant.
