Black-winged stilts observed at Zhongjihai

A flock of rare birds was photographed recently at the Zhongjihai lakeside wetland in northwest Yunnan’s Lijiang city.

Hailed as a beautiful long-legged wander, the birds have been identified as black-winged stilts, which also feature red legs, white stomach and jet-black wings.

Located in the resort of Lijiang old town, Zhongjihai has lush woods, making it a sound habitat for birds and animals.
