When wild mushrooms encounter Yunnan spiciness
Yunnan is known as the "Kingdom of wild mushrooms" for its wide variety of wild fungi. Every year in the rainy season, numerous wild fungi will come into the market.
In Shidian County, west Yunnan’s Baoshan City, locals like to cook different kinds of wild mushrooms with pickles and spiciness, creating a gourmet food with nostalgia.
Although wild mushrooms are delicious, foodies need to be careful about some toxic mushrooms. Experts remind citizens that do not pick or eat unfamiliar wild fungi. When eating wild mushrooms, be sure to cook and fry thoroughly, and do not drink alcohol.
If you feel unwell after eating wild mushrooms, you should immediately go to hospital in the events of nausea, dizziness, vomiting, blurred vision or hallucination.
