Phongsali delegation visits southwest Yunnan

Khamchen Vongphosy, the Lao Phongsaly Province governor who is also secretary of the provincial committee of LPRP, recently headed a visiting delegation to southwest Yunnan’s Pu’er City.

During the visit, Khamchen Vongphosy held talk with Wei Xing, secretary of the CPC Pu’er Municial Committee, and the two sides agreed to boost cooperation in infrastructure, education, tourism, and more.

The six-day visit from December 30, 2017 to January 4, 2018 also brought the Lao official delegation to the Menglian county in Pu'er, where they are accompinied local officials, including the vice mayor of Pu’er Chen Shijian.

The delegates also watched local ethnic performances, and visited a local historic administrative office, the Yunnan International Coffee Exchange, and the Menglian-Menga border economic cooperation zone.
