Yunnan is something for me: Dhusor Ahamed
“I can’t remember how many times I’ve been here already, but every time I come to Yunnan, I can't help staying here for some days to meet my friends, enjoy the foods and hang around with buddies,” Said Dhusor Ahamed, managing director of Bangladesh International Tourism Services.
Dhusor said so on Nov. 21 when he had a tour in Kunming’s Green Lake Park. Due to tourism purpose, he visited Kunming, capital of SW China’s Yunnan Province in 2015 for the first time.
He said that before he made the trip to Yunnan, he knew Kunming is an eternal spring city and many world heritage sites like Stone Forest and Lijiang Ancient Town also exist in the province. “The weather is good, and food and culture all are amazing. For me, it is one of the best destinations in China,” Dhusor added.
“I still remember the night we arrived in Kunming. We enjoyed the beauty of the city and the lighting and decorations were all fabulous. So my very first impression about the city was great. Later on, we found flowers were all over the city, different in color, which I have never seen in any other places in the world. One could smell the fragrance of the flowers. Yunnan is more beautiful than I expected,” He recalled.
In his view, the reform and opening-up over the past 40 years has changed China and Yunnan greatly. Dhusor pointed out that the skyscrapers in Kunming are numerous and the city is cleaner than before. Meanwhile, branded cars are running all over the city and technology implementation has increased. He said that he has been used to using WeChat Payment.
“Many Bengalese students are studying in Yunnan and traders are also heading towards Yunnan, especially during China-South Asia Expo and South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair,” He said.
Regarding himself as a big fan of Yunnan, Dhusor said that he has been to Kunming City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Lijiang City, Shangri-La City, Tengchong City, Mangshi City and Baoshan City of the province. He said people in Yunnan are lucky, as it is a beautiful and amazing place in the world and he also considered Yunnan is something for him.
Noticing Yunnan has been promoting its abundant tourism resources all over the world, he said that people just wanted to visit Kunming before, but now they are willing to visit different regions in the province.
Talking about the future plan, Dhusor said he’ll keep on presenting Yunnan to Bangladeshis and bring more tourists to Yunnan.
