Five works of Xu Beihong that shouldn't be missed

This painting was inspired by an excerpt from Shangshu, or the Book of Documents. It shows people who struggled for liberation under the tyranny of the Xia Dynasty. Xu worked on this work out of a deep concern for people in Northeastern China who fell victim to Japanese invasion.
