Summer sees lotus blooming in Spring City

In the period of summer solstice, the lotus in Daguan Park of Kunming, the Spring City, has once again entered its annual blooming season.

Every day, crowds of tourists and citizens would come to the park to admire flowers and take pictures of the beautiful flowers with their mobile phones and cameras.

While most parts of China are sweltering in mid-summer, the weather in Kunming is still cool and pleasant, making the city an ideal place to avoid summer heat.
