Matsutake in season, express delivery in demand

Matsutake from Yunnan’s prefectures of Diqing and Chuxiong came into season in bulk in recent days, spurring great demand for express delivery services.

At a Yunnan local wild mushroom market, express couriers were busy carrying and dealing with thousands of matsutake packages per day, in an effort to ensure the freshness of the Yunnan delicacy on the diners' table afar.

Yunnan is China's top producer of fresh matsutake, supplying around 2,200 metric tons of matsutake to the domestic and international diners.
