Rainbows appear in Kunming after downpour

Pictures shared on social networks Monday evening show grandeur rainbows and appealing sun glow appear in the sky in Kunming, Yunnan Province, following a brief but violent storm. 

“It’s fantastic to see three rainbows at the same time, one hanging on the left and another two lying in the sky on the right,” a Kunming netizen remarked on his WeChat Moment.   

Yunnan, literally meaning south of clouds, has been dubbed as home to beautiful clouds since the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD).
