Pictures taken on November show Jinuo kids study and play happily in an ethnic primary school in south Yunnan’s Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture.

The Jinuo ethnic group has a population of 20,000 living in the Jinuo Mountain in Xishuangbanna, and most of the 712 students in the school belong to Jinuo.

In recent years, the local authorities implemented a series of preferential policies to ensure all ethnic school-age children a good education.
