Lijiang Liyu River Scenic Spot gains national recognition

Recently, Lijiang Liyu River Water Conservancy Scenic Spot was approved as part of the 18th batch of National Water Parks by the Ministry of Water Resources of China.

Located in Zhongxin town, Huaping county, Lijiang, Southwest China's Yunnan province, Liyu River Water Conservancy Scenic Spot was built relying on the Liyu River and Hedong Reservoir and is an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic spot.

In December 2017, it was listed in the 17th batch of provincial-level water parks in Yunnan province.

The scenic spot uses the ecological landscape construction of the Liyu River channel to construct the lakeside hydrophilic space and the slow-moving corridor.

Lijiang Liyu River Water Conservancy Scenic Spot has beautified the urban and rural living environment and become a good place for relaxing, vacations, sightseeing and tourism.

In addition, the scenic spot has also promoted the development of a number of related industries, such as the construction of the Mango Town, increasing direct or indirect employment opportunities and stimulating economic development.
