SNS helps university squirrels become online celebrities
Squeak, squeak, this is not just the sound uttered by adorable animals, but also the tweets written by squirrels at Yunnan University.
We are not kidding, those cute little beasties do have their account on Sina Weibo, China’s Twitter-like social networking site(SNS). Sometimes they tweet to express their appreciation to the beautiful campus, and sometimes they interact with friends living in other cities of the nation—like retweeting posts or giving them a thumb up emoji.
Actually, squirrels living on campus of Yunnan University are online celebrities among local netizens and tourists. Some of them bring nuts to feed the squirrels frequently. Thus, students of the university signed up for a Sina Weibo account and update the life moments of squirrels for followers. The pictures and tweets really delight netizens.
