The 2018 China Nujiang International Wild Water Canoeing Open Tournament closed in Lushui city, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture of SW China’s Yunnan province on December 16.
Taking advantages of Nujiang's unique natural and ethnic culture resources, the tournament attracted competitors from 20 countries.
Nujiang prefecture is located in the northwest of Yunnan province. Its landform is so remarkable that makes the Nu River Grand Canyon a spectacular sight. The canyon is an important part of a UNESCO World Heritage site—the Three Parallel Rivers of Yunnan Protected Areas.
