Qianwang Street is located in the downtown of Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province. It is one of the historical streets with well-preserved architectures of old Kunming.

Walking through the 400-meter-long Qianwang Street in Kunming, you will find folk dwellings built before 1940 and some of them are listed as protected historic sites by the municipal government.

Qianwang Street used to be the business center of old Kunming, where banks, stalls and hostels thrived. Recently, it was transformed into a new look, but sill keeps the old styles.

Yunnan Tea Museum, which is situated near the entrance of Qianwang Street, is considered to be a must-visit place for tourists. In the museum, various kinds of Pu'er tea and the tools of making tea are showcased. There, you can also take a sip of Pu’er Tea and feel how amazing the tea is.
