Colorful Sand Forest: Elegant "sand painting" by nature

The Colorful Sand Forest, a 4A national tourist attraction in Yunnan, is just like a scroll of colorful and elegant painting.  

Located in east Yunnan’s Luliang County, the Colorful Sand Forest is well-known for its unique sand peaks, pillars and caves. In the forest which covers an area of six square kilometers, grotesque peaks stand in great numbers, and 108 scenes were sculptured by nature with uncanny workmanship. 

More interestingly, the main hues of sand in yellow, red, white and grey mixed with that in green, blue, black and purple, form a colorful and elegant painting scroll.
