The tea expo aims to bring together tea products from various localities, showcasing Yunnan’s tea industry and encouraging tea trade and consumption.

Yunnan is the cradle of tea trees, with a 2,000-year history in tea growing. As a key industry, tea has been an income source for locals. Moreover, the tea-induced trade in Yunnan gave rise to the ancient Tea and Horse Caravan Road that extended all the way to South Asia.
