Recent online pictures show graceful movements by the migrant black-necked cranes that are wintering at the Dashanbao nature reserve in northeast Yunnan’s Zhaotong.

Located in the west of Zhaotong City, Dashanbao is the highest subalpine wetland ecosystem in China, and the large swamps there make the area an ideal habitat for black-necked cranes to winter.
